Yves Bontant

From a very young age, Yves Bontant developed a deep passion for records. At just five years old, he attended his first disco, where he was captivated by the DJ’s performance. His mother often recalled that wherever they went, if there was a DJ booth or a DJ playing, Yves simply couldn’t resist the urge to approach it and spend the entire evening mesmerized by the music and the equipment.

At the age of 12, for his communion, Yves received his first hi-fi system. Eager to start experimenting, he borrowed his father’s turntable and combined it with his own record player to begin mixing. After years of persistence and asking, his parents finally gifted him his first DJ setup, which remains in use today.

From that moment, Yves Bontant’s journey into the world of DJing was set, and the rest, as they say, is history.
