Eugène Kahlo

Eugene Kahlo, protean artist, has been listening for years. Between 2014 and 2019, he created and coordinated a Brussels-based cultural media (Lifestage), where he hosted radio features (Régie 5, Radio Vibration, Radio Panik), interviewed, wrote, photographed and fed off the rich music scene. It was with this collective that he curated his first events, and began mixing.

Curious about and passionate about cultural mixes, his tastes run to labels and artists from the four corners of the globe who resist, pay homage to their traditions, adapt them and bring them to life. Downtempo, Global Bass, house, techno and Uk Garage are just some of the styles through which Eugène Kahlo’s Sets travel.
Inspired by ancestral animism, the atmosphere surrounding Eugène Kahlo’s work is multicultural and tinged with futuristic ritualism.

Now based in Liège, he organizes Le Jardin du bonheur, events combining nature, inclusivity, vulnerability, spirituality and celebration. He is also a monthly resident on 48FM, with his program Drouïd.
