Matière

Matière, a collective and label active since 2018, began by organizing free parties. At first, these were mainly gatherings among friends, but over time, the project evolved into a platform for free music.
The label began to make a name for itself in 2021, following the release of its first major compilation, UTOPIA, which featured more than twenty international artists.
The collective then began its rise in Parisian clubs through various projects, always highlighting the many facets of electronic music under one banner.

From Glazart to the Rex Club, via Petit Bain, Point Ephémère, Mazette, and KM25, the collective grew in scope until it expanded to Marseille a few years ago, and has now finally arrived in Brussels.
Matière is a project that showcases art in its entirety through events, markets, installations, compilations, releases, merchandise, and more. All of these mediums convey a message of free art without borders. Matière aims to be an inclusive safe space that rejects all forms of discrimination and embraces difference.
