• Grife (FR) : A minimalist DIY bass-and-drum duo, with vocals steeped in joyful punk poetry.Just as comfortable crafting 2-minute-30 songs reminiscent of the Riot Grrrls as they are with little tunes thatcling to your skin, their music channels instinct, urgency, and the power to bring tribes back together. Punk istinted pink; traditional costumes slip into leopard print. With a single F for force and raw sensitivity, theirpagan chants unfold through the concerns of 2000s youth, swinging between super-tenderness and revolt.GRIFE fills us with joy, because the pleasure is immediate—an urge to tear everything down in the name of abold, unashamed present.
• Coup Dur (BE) : Born somewhere between Brussels and Paris last spring, Coup Dur brings together Clémence (bass, vocals), Avril (guitar, vocals), and César (drums). The trio draws a fragile and electrifying line between the insolence of sixties girl bands and the lo-fi romanticism of late-70s/80s soft punk (think Squeeze or The Pastels). Their songs — short, in French — intentionally cultivate a kind of primitivism that highlights the irony and naivety of their lyrics.
• Le YES Collectif (BE) : Le YES Collective is taking over Bar du Matin with a duo that truly slays: Hysope and Holiness, two very talented Brussels-based DJs. Blending hard groove, latinbass, ghetto tech and percussive club sounds, they deliver eclectic and high-energy sets made to keep you moving all night long.
